Based on the iconic TV show, this travelling exhibition uses an array of digital content and recreated sets to transport visitors to Downton.

'Welcome to Downton' is a nine-metre projection which features characters from the show speaking directly to the audience. As visitors move through the exhibition space, animated Monoliths featuring key characters are presented on impressive 84” LCD screens.

An immersive AV projection recreates both the Library and the Drawing Rooms of Downton Abbey, bringing them to life across three 5-metre walls. The Dining Room AV presents visitors with a playful film which explores the importance of early 20th Century etiquette housed in a picture frame.

An assortment of screen-based archive AVs and interactives showcase a wealth of real-life stories which influenced the series’ much-loved storylines. A large-scale projection housed within the great hall archway set works acts as the Finale show, allowing visitors to witness conversations between newly shot life size characters from the show.

The supplementary Downton Abbey Exhibition Interactive Guide gives visitors a behind-the-scenes look at how the TV show was made with exclusive interviews from the cast and crew. Visitors can use the media guide as they navigate their way through the Downton experience that is currently touring the globe.
