We created this original IP series for BBC Bitesize, designed to assist young learners in their use of the English Language. These 33 short films cover topics from haiku and sonnets to analysis and punctuation. We explore how writers are influenced by their context, how they use setting, and how they develop characters.

Using a combination of live action, 2D animation and mixed media, the short films use humour, where possible, to help refresh the minds of teens in a fun and engaging way, supporting existing learning in the classroom. The films are intended to assist independent learning, as well as teachers in the classroom.

With a rich soundtrack and fun, quirky production styles, we created a wide diversity across this suite of learning materials to ensure that no potential learner would be left feeling alienated.
